Hi Prakash,

I sure will post the presentation here on <a href="http://www.ome-b.nl" rel="nofollow">Ome-B.nl</a>.

Are there any specific elements you want us to discuss in the session? (For your information: I won't promote using only APEX instead of the SOA Suite, but will promote and explain how to use APEX within a SOA environment.)

Regards.

Hi Douwe,

I wanted to ask you few questions on the APEX and Oracle SOA implimentation which you are going to showcase in Open World. I am very much excited about it. As Oracle SOA 11g seems very complex and people who are much comfortable using PL/SQL and APEX do not see any value addition of SOA. As i cannot attend the Openworld , would you please post your presentation after the Open world in your blog.

I hear you Tony!

This is a big plus in the new version of APEX. Especially the hassle it brought to the developers. This will give us much more functionality (or: the end user) in a shorter amount of time.

But just to be curious: how did you implement the home-grown equivalent?

Regards and thanks for the comment!

For me, the big new feature is Dynamic Actions: client-side behaviour without having to write Javascript and AJAX callouts. I have been involved in developing a similar home-grown equivalent before, but to have it built into Apex and supported by Oracle is a big plus!
